I think that our nation’s federal policies are governed and controlled by special money interests, Washington lobbyists and Wall Street interests. When donors give money to politicians, like my Democrat political opponent Joyce Beatty, they want something in return, such as tax credits, tax loopholes, government contracts and tax reductions.
I believe that politicians, like my opponent, Joyce Beatty, seek huge campaign contributions from special interests donors, Washington lobbyists, Political Action Committees (PACs) and Wall Street interests. Once in office, my opponent acts as a “moneychanger” and is controlled by her donors, Washington lobbyists, Political Action Committees (PACs) and Wall Street interests. She then trades her votes on legislation in exchange for campaign donations, in order to be re-elected.
Many of my opponent’s contributors live outside Ohio’s Third Congressional District and many live in other states. Why are those special interest groups sticking their collective noses in our District?
As for me, I believe that a person elected to Congress should represent the people as a whole, not any special money interests, Washington lobbyists or Wall Street interests. I believe that a Congressional seat belongs to the American people and it is not for sale.
If elected, I will represent your interests and the interests of the people as a whole, but not any special money interests, PACs, Washington lobbyists nor Wall Street interests. I will not be controlled by them. I will be your representative, not a "moneychanger" politician.
As for me, I am self-funding my campaign and will only accept individual contributions.
I will utilize the financial resources that I have at hand to present my positions and actions for which I stand.
In order to demonstrate to you exactly who my Democrat opponent, Joyce Beatty, really represents, I have published on this web site the special money interest campaign contributors, Washington lobbyists and Wall Street interests for my opponent.
